Beginning in 2012 with a focus on the career archives of music industry professionals, our client base has expanded over the years to include artists in other fields, as well as individuals with special collections in need of the same expertise and attention.
We provide guidance and services pertaining to the cataloging, organization, and preservation of recordings, documents, photographs, memorabilia, and other physical & digital media.
Every collection is unique, and we design a tailor-made set of practical solutions to meet each client's needs. Services we offer include collection assessment, research, archival program development, inventory & arrangement, database development, storage acquisition & rehousing, audio & video digitization, photo & document scanning, restoration, and other tasks related to cultivating and protecting a client's valued assets.

GLENN KORMAN
After starting out in film distribution at UA Classics, Glenn embarked on a 25-year career in the music industry, first at the legendary NYC studio A&R Recording, and then with the Archives departments of BMG and Sony Music Entertainment. From 2004 to 2011, Glenn was Vice President of Archives at Sony Music Entertainment and was responsible for the merged audio, video, photo, and document collections of Columbia Records, RCA Records, and other historic labels. He brings to Studio Archives LLC more than 30 years of experience managing some of the largest and most important collections in the world, as well as a uniquely eclectic knowledge of cultural history that encompasses music, film, theater, and literature.
KATIE P. KORMAN
Following an early career in music publishing and live production management, Katie found her calling as an archives consultant preparing the personal papers of the late playwright Joseph Stein for donation to the New York Public Library. She has more than 20 years of diverse project experience, delivering solutions for artists, writers, photographers, collectors, family historians, estates, and corporate entities. Clients from all walks of life have come to rely on her meticulous organizational skills, resourceful project management, and innate ability to bring order to chaos.
Together at Studio Archives LLC, Glenn and Katie’s roster of clients has included legendary artists Tony Bennett, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Steven Van Zandt, Elvis Costello, and prominent organizations such as The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Viacom/MTV, Legacy Recordings and Universal Music Group.
